Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ZoroTones uses cookies and similar technologies on zorotones.com. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser.
Cookies we set
- Session cookie (PHPSESSID) - keeps you signed in while you use the site. It is deleted when you close your browser or sign out. Essential.
- Visitor cookie (rsv) - a random ID that lets us count each download once and filter out fake or repeated downloads, so creator statistics are fair. It lasts one year. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it, never your IP address.
Settings stored in your browser
- Theme - if you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
Third-party cookies
- Google Sign-In - when you choose to sign in, Google sets its own cookies under its own policies.
- Advertising - our advertising partners, such as Google, may set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, where allowed, personalise them. You can manage personalised ads from Google at My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com).
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in, but you can still listen to and download ringtones.
